HISTORY

From the 19th century to the present day

RED AND BLACK

Previously Maison Stendhal was located in Saint-Gilles neighbourhood in Brussels. The existing interior, carried out in red and black, reminded us of the famous Stendhal’s novel - “Red and black”.

FROM THE 19TH
TO THE 21ST CENTURY

We looked back into the atmosphere of the 19th century into private clubs - salons - where people gathered to listen to music, learn the news of the day and enjoy each other’s company. This inspired us to host social events and inspiring theme evenings.

founder, hairdresser and colorist
She received diplomas from top schools of England, including Vidal Sassoon Academy and AlanD London, as well as at the Russian school of color Valentina Miller. Elena- aesthete and a perfectionist by nature, creates harmonious and stylish looks, ﬁnding an individual approach to each client, creating a cozy atmosphere and helping clients reveal their unique individuality.

oriental reflexology, balinese massage specialist
Marina intensely works on the energy lines to eliminate stress, muscle tension and pain. She assesses clients by identifying painful or tense parts of the body to improve energy circulation and restore flexibility.
Fully qualified therapist from Wat Pho (Bangkok).

Masha Ustinova is interior designer, creator of the interior of Maison Stendhal. She received her education in England and Scotland. She has extensive experience in conception and realisation of various design projects, in which she implements a unique style, lightness, modernity and creativity.
